Munster Juvenile Even Age, U23 & Novice Cross-Country Championships
This year’s championships were held in Limerick Racecourse on Sunday.
U16 Girls
Maria Campbell, Sarah Hosey, Laura Southern, Sarah Dillon, and Sarah Butler competed, finishing 5th in the club category.
Novice Women
Sinéad McDermott and Karen Raine competed, and were part of the county team who finished 3rd.
Novice Men
Dooneen were represented by Joe O’Brien in the Novice Men’s race.

Spar Autumn Open International Cross-Country Festival
This event took place in the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown on Sunday.
Well done to Eoghan Beary, who competed in the Senior Men’s race.
parkrun
John Sheehan and Catherine Sheehan ran Black Park parkrun in the UK, Shane O’Sullivan ran a PB at New Ross parkrun, Ann MacPhail ran Clarisford parkrun, Andrew McMahon, Shona O’Flynn, Alison Flynn, Philip Ryan, and Patrick Noonan ran Limerick parkrun, while Anthony Harty (who ran a PB), Gerard O’Shea (who ran a PB), David Rohan, Ger Meehan, Conor Lovett, Angela Higgins, and Marion O’Halloran all ran Mungret parkrun.
Dublin Marathon
The Dublin Marathon is taking place this Sunday. The very best of luck to everybody competing. Do your best and enjoy the occasion!

Adult Training
Adult Training takes place on Tuesdays at 6:15pm & Thursdays at 7pm in UL. Long run takes place every Sunday at 9am in UL or Cratloe. Fit4Life/Meet and Train takes place on Fridays in Mungret at 6:15pm. New members & beginners are always welcome. Contact Dooneen Facebook page for more details.
Juvenile Training
Juvenile training takes place every Monday night at 7pm & every Thursday night at 6.30pm in Crescent Comprehensive. There is also training at the track in UL every Saturday at 10am.
